Continuous help and care to Myanmar cyclone victims through rice seeds, Great Love Houses and schools
Still feeling the effects of Cyclone Nargis, the Burmese people are nevertheless slowly getting back on their feet. Now volunteers are helping build 744 houses as well as five schools. <--MORE-->

Indonesia’s Tzu Chi volunteers had implemented many aid projects for the residents of Kapuk Muara Village before, such as cleaning up the Angke River, planting trees, building public washrooms, and distributing rice. On Nov 2, Tzu Chi Indonesia branch and the Jakarta Da Ai TV Station jointly organized a tree planting programme. Around 400 volunteers, including students of the Tzu Chi Elementary and Secondary School, helped planted 2000 mangrove trees in the shelter-forest along the Kapuk Muara village riverbank.
