Tzu Chi Children Enrichment Class

The first light is the most refreshing,
The sprouting tender shoot, the most verdant,
The daybreak dewdrop, sparkling and moist,
The growing children, pure and sincere.
Pure denotes innocence
Innocence is human nature
Human nature is Buddha nature

A child has a pure and innocent nature, crystal clear and untainted. However, living in the present society which places emphasis on material gains and academic achievements, the Tzu Chi Happy Children’s Enrichment Class challenges to develop a child’s innate ability whilst cultivating his kind nature.

During the monthly class activities, Tzu Chi ‘mothers’ incorporate Jing Si Aphorisms in the lessons through fascinating stories and interesting games. The children thus learn through play in a nurturing environment.

Teaching activities and games that emphasize on teamwork are also conducted during the occasional outdoor activities in the parks.  Through fun and games, children learn to cherish and respect Mother Nature.

The children learn to cherish and care for their parents, who nurtured them without any grouses.

A child needs to be guided on the path to attain a humane outlook on life.

Grandpas and grandmas at the Elderly Care Day looked on as children from the Tzu Chi Children Enrichment Class (Singapore) performed before them.  The vibrant performance brought smiles and joy to the elderly, who beat time to the lively music.

Occasional outdoor activities were conducted with teambuilding games to teach children to show gratitude and respect for Mother Nature.

The children learn to be of service to others in a warm and caring environment during the monthly class activities.
